WW2 German Luftwaffe “HG” Panzer crewman overseas cap

WW2 German Luftwaffe “HG” Panzer crewman overseas cap. Unissued Black overseas cap for a Luftwaffe Panzer crewman, having the standard Luftwaffe Schiffchen cut constructed of heavy issue quality black wool. Lining is a black cotton, the only marking visible is the size stamp 57 in white ink. The machine embroidered national emblem in white thread on black wool is hand sewn to the cap’s front, the padded national color rosette has a black wool backing and is also hand sewn.  Cap is in an hardly worn condition, best of the very few examples we have seen!!
