MP44 / STG44 pouch fuq 1944. Original German WW2 MP44 / STG44 Magazine Pouch (Magazintasche). Soldiers equipped with the MP44 (Sturmgewehr 44) were issued a pair of magazine pouches which each held three thirty round magazines. This is a right side pouch. This pouch is made of all recycled material, tan coloured webbing with brown leather straps, the leather straps are in functional condition. The sides of the flaps are made of ‘Ersatz’ material. The connecting strap has regrettably been cut off. The press-button at the small side compartment has been restored see photos. The pouch is nicely maker marked and dated with ‘fuq 1944′( Cottbusser Lederwarenwerk Curt Vogel, Cottbuss), it is WaA marked as well. Hard to find original MP44 magazine pouch in good used condition, perfect for your late-war Ardennes Offensive Mannequin!
