M43 Waffen-SS field cap gabardine 1943

Textbook Waffen-SS M43 pattern field cap in light worn condition. Excecuted in gabardine wool. Normaly we see these type of caps with a trapezoid insignia up front yet here we have a hand applied ‘Totenkopf’ on front and an eagle on the side. Hard to say when this was done but the most important thing is that both the cap and it’s insignia are genuine and original. The liner is complete and maker marked with M43, size marked 57.
